These days technology is easily accesible to anybody who has a phone, computer or a tablet. Due to its constantant development, we can access almost any information availible on the internet. Some say that this could pose a threat to our society, others encourage the idea of unlimited access. I personally agree with both opinions and in this essay will disscus pros and cons of uncontrolled access of information and it’s affect to societies all over the world.
One one had, unlimited access means unlimited knowledge. It provides us with the ability to learn, explore and understand everything around us. It is said that knowledge is power. And I agree with this statement. In addition to that, we can easily talk and connect with our friends and family who live far away.
On the other hand, internet is mostly uncesored and the content provided can be pretty dangerous. One example would be such as children browsing and accessing videos or posts with negative, extremist opinions or immoral videos. This leads to developing bad morals and innapropriate behaviour. Moreover, Apps such as TikTock could negatively impact their ability for prolonged attention and “copying” adult behaviour.
To sum up, unlimited acces to the internet provides us easy connection with our peers and family, but it can negatively affect, if exposed, to develop extremeist behaviour and lack of attention span. I agree with both sides. Access to tnowledge should not be limited but innapropriate websites and posts should be banned or at least be difficult to access.
