In the contemporary world, redevelop has emerged as an integral part of our lives. Some individuals claim that is renovation of historical buildings require substantial amount of government spending; instead of restoration, government prioritizes to new amenities and roads. I firmly believe that government should allocate this money for new development of projects.
There are several compelling reasons why people advocate developing new plans. One of the foremost benefits is that it strengthens infrastructure. To elaborate, when allowing governments to build new roads and new facilities, which directly increases overall country welfare. This can be seen in if increase routes and roads, traffic congestion may be alleviated in the long term owing to individuals have more change to their routes. Another essential example is that is, building more facilities for educational purposes. In other words, when government focuses on funding for compulsory or higher education, this could contribute to a more educated society and lead to higher literacy rates, which results in it can help to find better jobs and pay higher taxes so as to boost the government’s economy. Consequently, this greatly enhances the quality of society’s lives in the long run.
On the other hand, there are negative aspects of building new plans that cannot be ignored. A major drawback is that it spending money solely on new buildings instead of old artefacts causes to damage the city’s history. This means city’s cultural identification may disappear owing to constantly new established built; however, this problem can be solved by old buildings were transformed into the tourist places like cafes or museums. If these historical heritages are promoted effectively, they may attract numerous tourists, which results in the country’s economy will strengthen day by day, thereby tourists not only impact on cafes or restaurants but also hostels, local businesses and other tourist occasions. Thus, this solution protects cultural heritage while creating new financial benefits for the country.
In light of the information above, although there are some valid concerns, development of new buildings has brought essential benefits. Therefore, new buildings are constructed by the government.
