Band 6+: The rise of social media has allowed individuals to connect globally, but some argue that it also promotes superficial relationships and reduces real-world interactions. Others believe that social media fosters community and provides valuable networking opportunities. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

When it comes to the use of social media, some people claim that deep realtionships can not be established and the creation of deep bonds can not possibly be genuine. However, it has also been stated that platforms such as Facebook and Instagram can maintain relationships for people with limited time to socialize in the modern world.

First of all, social media only provides users the chance to chat online, without meeting in the flesh. It would not be possible to create meaningful connections between one another in this manner. It is often the case that people have a different persona online, only by meeting face to face can users get to know each other in a genuine way. It is far too easy to adopt a different personality or physical appearance when online. This can result in not really getting to know the true person sitting in front of the screen.

On the other side of the coin, social media can aid people who are not confident at socializing when outside of their own four walls. Chatting online can be much more comfortable for some people that may not be good at interacting with others. By doing so, the way of chatting without meeting can enable them to express their true colors. It is a platform for them not only to build confidence but also to make friends online. Without this aid, they may not be able to socialize.

From my perspective, it is easy to establish deep relationships with friends online. This is due to the fact that people can express their true personalaties and feel more self assured without any pressure or being judged. By merely chatting online, it is simple to avoid the anxiety that can often come with physically meeting another person.
