Overall, passenger vehicles had the highest number of registrations throughout this period, while motorcycles showed the largest percentage increase. Other types of vehicles also rose, with heavy trucks having the smallest increase.

In detail, passenger vehicles had 11.8 million registrations in 2010, which rose to 13 million in 2014, a 10.2% increase. Commercial vehicles started with 2.3 million registrations in 2010 and grew by 17.4% to reach 2.7 million in 2014. Motorcycles had the fastest growth rate, increasing from 540,000 in 2010 to 709,000 in 2014, a 30.8% rise.
