Band 7+: The topic of the passage is: "The importance of health education and the role of healthcare centers in promoting health awareness among the public." Discuss borh views and give your opinion

Nowadays, in many countries, health care centers are responsible for increasing public education about health awareness among local people. I believe that this type of activity is essential in today’s world.

On the one hand, many people smoke cigarettes and use drugs. While the reasons behind such behavior may vary, these habits should definitely be avoided. Professional doctors can help by creating educational videos and content to promote healthy lifestyles. This kind of information can be especially helpful for patients, as they will know how to act in different situations when they feel unwell. In particular, doctors should offer advice on how to improve both mental and physical health. For example, imagine someone had an argument with another person and started to feel mentally unwell. If they had previously consulted a doctor or attended an awareness session, they would know how to manage the situation better. Therefore, working with patients on health education can be very beneficial.

On the other hand, if many doctors focus on educating healthy individuals, there may not be enough specialists left to treat seriously ill patients. If more and more doctors are involved in health education every day, the condition of critically ill people might worsen due to a lack of attention. Moreover, hospitals could become overcrowded, with long queues of patients waiting for consultation. This could affect the overall efficiency of the healthcare system.

In conclusion, I believe that increasing health education is highly beneficial for the population. If governments take this issue seriously and invest in proper health programs, we will see a significant reduction in the number of diseases. Additionally, more people may stop using harmful substances such as cigarettes and drugs. Therefore, I fully agree with the idea of improving health education among people

Some people argue that detailed reports of crimes in the media, including television and newspapers, can have harmful effects and should therefore be banned.
