Adopting some violent strategies to dictate your own mindset to someone or make others’ behavior more compatible can be seen as a useful method by some people, even though this perspective is now in decline. I strongly disagree with this opinion because I believe that this strategy cannot serve beneficial outcomes in individuals’ lives. I aim to explain my perspective by presenting relevant examples and my own experiences.
First and foremost, violence cannot be accepted as a reliable path to enable discipline or order desired in society or groups. For instance, some teachers try to make their own truths, and moral rules implement in a classroom among their students by resorting to violation, however this approach may backfire with serious consequences such as an irreversible decline in students’ performance or unproductivity in their learning level. For this reason, a tutor’s approach might have a strong impact on their pupils, whether this important influence can be wisely evaluated or not depends on the teacher’s mindset and awareness towards the psychology of children. Additionally, if I were in the situation of a child abused emotionally or physically by its teacher, I would probably lose self-esteem and self-confidence, and therefore my personality development and social skills could not enhance aligning with my peers. Furthermore, we cannot justify relentless teaching strategies with the view of enforcing discipline or maintaining coherence in social connections. In addition, we should be opposed to the idea that corporal punishment in school may bring along some benefits especially towards mischief or disobedient students, in contrast, some strict and harsh attitudes to these pupils might foster their stubbornness, and then they can mostly resist acknowledging essential limitations and information to sustain a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere in the way of supporting their learning capability.
In conclusion, the main perspective, relating to physically hitting students, should not be encouraged as a way of improving behaviors. Conversely, teachers and parents might adopt modern and suitable training methods, being more supportive to increase their interest and capacity towards courses and rules.
