In contemporary society, number of working hours per week as well as resting period is highly debated.AS per my opinion,I without a doubt support that skilled personnel should have shorter working hours and a prolonged weekend.Am going to discuss possible reasons including encouraging more time with loved ones as well as discovering personal talents.
The forthcoming reason is that people will be able to bond with their families. Recent research carried out in United States of America shows that majority of families are not able to bear children due to the tight working schedules.To be sincere,it has not only made people worker holic but also separates couples, hence resulting to low reproduction rate.So, having more time for the workers to rest will actually build many families.
Additionally, more weekend hours encourages people to build their talents, especially doing what they love the most. For instance, majority of the Kenyan teachers are good farmers, given an extended holiday, they would be able to raise standards of living.Besides, government revenue is increased through the large scale farming.Such activities include, poultry farming, maize production and also dairy farming. Given a chance, they are able to uplift lives of many people because of creation of Jobs to less fortune people or even unemployed skilled personnel.
To sum up, I suppose that, having less working days in various fields would favour family times by improving their love lives and furthermore boost people’s talents and creativity.
