Nowadays, the fact that social networking thrives outstandingly leads to a belief that students should be given access to mobile phones during class. From my perspective, I am partly in favor of this assertion.
On the one hand, mobile phones enable students to access online materials which are numerous. As a result, teachers can interact with students via various methods such as online mini-game or new-word postcards if mobile phones are allowed. Additionally, students can look up whatever term quickly during class so that they can keep up with the lecture and no need to stop the lesson in order to ask the teacher out about that little trouble.
On the other hand, the drawbacks may outweigh positive potentials if mobile phone use goes wrong. For phone-allowed time in lecture, students may tune off and have the inclination toward gaming or social media for amusement. Furthermore, this can lead to cheating in examinations as students can seek the answer online instantly or ask AI to finish their task. This is an adverse sign since dependency on the internet will result in inactive thinking and unconfidence during real tests.
In conclusion, while there can be several positive benefits if mobile phones are freely utilized during lessons, I advocate no internet access in class on the grounds of its severely detrimental outcomes.
