At the present time, working at the same company for a long time brings many positive aspects to each individual. However, I do not agree that money or bonuses are the most important factors in each person’s decision on whether to continue with this job or not; there are many other things to consider.
The first important thing is that the familiar workplace motivates employees to continue with their current jobs. However, they may not be able to surpass their own limits to reach further; they are accustomed to the old environment of stable work, no pressure, and are proficient in their tasks, making them smoother and easier. They have close relationships within the company, understand each other’s intentions in their work, can collaborate seamlessly to complete tasks assigned, and this is also the main factor that makes them unwilling to change to a new environment for fear of difficulty in integration.
Furthermore, transitioning to a new job and environment also presents them with many challenges and immediate adaptation difficulties, as any current job requires experience and adaptability to meet deadlines and trends to avoid falling behind. Moreover, if they don’t speak up, it’s quite difficult to survive; everyone has their own job, so there’s no warm welcome for you, it’s up to that person to do their job. Sometimes, you may want to break through to a new working environment and have a good income, absorb advanced scientific achievements globally, but economic and language barriers also pose significant obstacles, leading you to reconsider and possibly abandon that dream to continue with your current job.
In summary, instead of job-hopping and demanding unreasonable things like many young people today, experienced and long-serving employees often choose to remain loyal to the company because advancing age doesn’t allow for the same vigor and breakthroughs as before. Nonetheless, the familiarity and relationships are still strong and stable, making many feel reassured and wanting to stay with their company for the long term.
