In recent decades, globalisation has grown drmatically, and has touched almost every single country and nation in the world. And even though, many people see it benefitial, i see it as a huge and terrible issue.
Because of globalisation, many ethnicities have lost or forgot about their culture. For a nation it is essential to keep and preserve their cultural heritage and traditions. Without this, the nation will loose it’s identity. Therefore, it will affect the local people’s unity in this country. For instance, many european nations have already lost their cultural identity and became less patriotic and united as an ethnicity.
The other huge issue about globalisation is that some countries will have to adapt to other nations’ traditions, which, sometimes, can contridict their’s. Nowadays, many people are oppressed, as they do not fit into the standards of the average human being. For instance in France muslim people are forced to take their hijabs off, when entering schools or universities.
Despite all the disadvantages, there are still some positive sides of globalisation. For example, it is extremely benefitial for the economy of the world, and separete countries. For instance, the nations, that are trying to prevent globalisation usually tend to have much higher poverty rates than the countries that accepted. It can be due to the lack of foreign knowledg
To sum up everything i stated before, globalisation is a negative process, for me personaly, as it usually leads to discrimination and destruction of the cultural code of the nation. However, it can be quite benefitial in terms of economy.
