Since the increasing number of criminal cases each year, many people believe that the death penalty is the best way to deter crimes whereas others think it needs more consideration. I believe that the death penalty will work for some cases of crime but it can not be applied for other cases. We should think about another way to stop crimes rather than focusing only on creating the punishment.

Death penalty is the best way for some to stop crime which harms many people or something that takes the human rights of other people. It will be effective and fair because the criminal had contributed before. It will eradicate criminals and also stop crimes.

However, the death penalty can not be applied to punish all criminals. Some people believe that it is too extreme because there is always a second chance for everyone including criminals. Considering another alternative such as sending them to jail and providing rehabilitation training is more beneficial. Some people also think to make it longer their punishment period in jail depending on their criminal case.

In my point of view, capital punishment such as the death penalty is needed in order to stop crimes, especially the crimes which are harmful to many people. For example, in the government systems, corruptors should get the death penalty for what they have done. However it is not enough, another additional punishment such as asset confiscation is also needed because they contribute to poverty. By applying asset confiscation, their family will also be affected to be poor. It is worth it. On the other hand, this kind of punishment cannot be applied in terms of stopping crimes. I think the government should take part and make sure first to provide basic needs and ensure quality of life. Someone can be a criminal if they have lack of access to basic human rights such as water, education, health. When the basic human right is provided, the community will be more welfare and focused on improving their life rather than being a criminal.

In conclusion, the death penalty is one of the best ways to stop crime, especially affecting human right but it can not be applied for all types of crimes. We need to consider another way of punishment. Also, make sure the quality of life of the community is the most important step. Government should focus on that rather than creating a punishment regulation, because it will indirectly to stop criminal case because the community will more welfare
