Band 5+: These days, in many countries, fewer and fewer people want to become teachers, particularly in secondary schools. What are the reasons for this, and how could it be solved?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Teaching was considered one of the nobel professions. But nowadays very few peoples are interested to persue it especially middle school level. This essay will discuss the issues for not opting the above profession, and give sugesstions to overcome the problems.

First of all, the burning issue is low income. Teachers are given very low salaries, especially in private schools that refrain peoples from becoming a teacher. As in long run a person will suffer financial issues and he or she will not be able to run his family. Another concerning reason is teens behaviour. Children of secondary school usually show very causual attitude toward studies, and hormonal surge due to puberty in this age group shows different mood swings, and as a teacher it become difficult to deals with this additional responsibilty. Moreover, the other big reason is extensive course outline and pressure from school supervisors to complete it with in given time frame. Course completion is not the only responsibilty but making it understabdable for student is bigger task.

The solution to overcome the decline of educational instructors is to improvise the system. We should be worried for what, If there will be no teacher to teach our young adults?. At first government and Private school sector should consider to raise the pay of teachers to a level that they can easly run their bread and butter. Secondly, child psychologist should be part of school employees to deal with day to day childerens attitude issues. At last, educational organization should design flexible teaching cirriculum that could contain online self learning and in campus learning modules. So, the load of teachers may divided and course outline may be acomplished on time.

In conclusion, it is clear that why people are not opting for teaching profession and I believe that if educational setups will consider to resolve above conserns people will be willingly consider to join teaching profession.
