However, some people believe that insects are not only unhealthy but harvesting them will also negatively affect nature. What are the benefits and drawbacks of eating insects? There is no doubt that at the present time there is an increasing number of people living in this world whom needs nutrition to live their life. So some countries tried to make use of edible insects. The question is what are the positives and negatives of eating insects? In this essay we are going to discuss the pros and cons of consuming insects.

A significant drawback is that they are disgusting. The main reasons given to support this clime is their sticky nature, disgusting colors as well as its habitat. Take for example the people who cannot stand the sight of insects, they can’t stay in a room that has a small insect. Another reason is that, many kinds of bacteria will be transmitted to human due to insects dirty food. In other words, eating insects to get nutrition is the worst idea to guarantee a healthy life because it may give the opposite effect and ruin a human life.

However, insects are filled with lots of good nutrients including, amino acids and protein. In other words some people might find it an easy way to get their nutrient. This is because of their cheap price, unlike other expensive food where they can give half of their budget to get.

In conclusion, although insects are filled with nutrients elements. I believe that life is full of edible and valuable food with affordable price. Therefore, people do not need to seek or search for other unhealthy sources to get their nourishment like insects.
