Nowadays, there is a common trend in the society that more and more youngsters change their jobs or career paths every few years. About this phenomenon, I strongly argue that it is a generally positive development.
There is serval reasons about why young citizens would like to switch their jobs. To begin with, young people desire to explore various career paths and find the job that suit their interests and career goals. Many young professionals believe that only staying in one position limits their potential for personal and professional growth. This makes it difficult for them to gain different experiences and skills and find the most suitable positions. If citizens change jobs, it helps them find the jobs they’re most interested in and appropriate jobs can motivate citizens working durability because individuals are going to be working for a long time. Besides, Higher salaries and better welfare are important factors attracting young people to change jobs. As personal growth and family needs increase gradually, people need enough money to support them to complete the necessary things such as house purchase. Hence, they may want to get better economic returns and career development opportunities in new jobs.
It cannot be denied that job-changing has several advantages. First of all, changing jobs regularly allows young citizens to gain a lot of work experience and exposure to many companies in a short period of time, thus helping individuals to diversify their work experience and gain valuable insights into different career paths, which can help them find the job they want. However, frequent career changes can have many negative effects on youngsters’ career. This behavior can greatly hinder a person’s development at work because promotion requires their loyalty and contribution to gain it. Therefore, youngsters who change their jobs frequently are unable to hold a high position in the company.
Overall, there are many causes that young people why change their job such as searching more suitable job or high salary. Although changing job can influence the promotion in the company, it can assist individuals to gain more working experience and excellent salary.
