In today’s world, while many individuals argue that the cause employees work hard depends on experience they gain or personal growth, I totally agree that the primary reason why workers work hard is to earn enough money. Spending a lot of time or working hard means that person wants to purchase something that he really wants and needs, while others put effort for their families’ financial stability.
To begin with, money is essential for basic needs such as food, accommodation, and clothing. In today’s modern world, these things are expensive, and working hard is often the only way to afford them. For example, many people are spending hours and pushing themselves to pay rent or buying enough clothes and food for them and for parents if they need these. Without financial security, they might have trouble, and even will not able to fulfill these primary needs. Furthermore, the second reason why some workers put in the hours is luxury. For example, they might work hard to earn a significant amount of money to buy luxury things such as cars, houses, clothes, etc.
Moreover, more than half of employees have families, and they must financially support them. The breadwinner must work hard to preserve financial stability. For instance, cost of children’s education, accommodation, and meal are very high and these things need extra money. Additionally, the heads of families must have extra money for critical things. We can give medicine if their children were sick, or if one family member faced an accident as an example of these circumstances. If one family didn’t have such a extra money, they might face financial crisis.
In conclusion, money is the primary cause why a lot of staffs work hard, and this money can be spend to basic necessities or can be motivation to purchase something that they dreamt. Furthermore, family is one of the biggest spender, and people must devoting themselves to feed it.
