Band 5+: Topic: In some countries, young people have become richer, healthier and live longer, but they are less happy. Question: What are the causes? What can be done to address this situation?

In some countries teenagers have wealthy and healthy lifestyle since less happy. This trend mainly due to the growth of materialism and consumerism among young people. However, there are a wide range of measures that could be implemented to resolve the unhappiness.

One of the reasons is that, nowadays more and more youth are spending time on the social media in order to kill of the time. That is leads to over consumerism and materialism which are ubiquitous. As a result, they are more likely to influence within others fake lifestyle videos and shares as a result of life expecdation can be exagrated. Another cause is that academic and carrier competition can cause different not only can cause mental disbalance, but also establish overwhelmed lifestyle. For example, who are studying engineering or science, they might feel more anxious. Moreover, because of lack of job vacancy, young people in a desperate situation.

Nevertheless, there are a number of ways to tackle aproblem. Firstly, government should create new facilies around the city center for youth in order to stay emotionally stable. If teenagers are keen on learn new hobbies, they would encourage work-life balance. Another way to mitigate the problem universities can introduce stress-management classes, courses which are people build meaningful connection. For instance, some countries of citizens chronically suffer from depression so that authorizes can create unions and articles. Aside fromm that, awareness campaigns can teach young people about the negative effects of social media comparison. Being aware of detrimental effects of social media superior to lack of knowledge.
