Band 8+: Unemployment is a serious issue throughout the world. A number of changes need to be made to reduce the problem. What the reasons for unemployment ? What should governments do to solve this issue?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

With a population of over 8 billion, governments now face challenges regarding allocating jobs to individuals. Thus, unemployment constitutes a pressing issue in many parts of the world. The increase in joblessness stems from technological overdevelopment and a mismatch between population and job demands nationwide. Fortunately, the issue can be navigated by employing educational and craft training and encouraging governments to support small businesses.

One key reason why many people suffer from unemployment is the prevalence of automation in the majority of workplaces. With the introduction of robots, labour-intensive activities no longer require human involvement. For instance, recently, advertisements created by AI models can frequently be seen on TV and online platforms. This trend translates to the fact that tasks that were previously operated by humans are now being done by machines. Another contributing factor lies in the number of populations that exceed actual job demands in some communities. In Luxembourg- one of the wealthiest countries- native citizens express frustration about the accountability of the government, as it is primarily concerned about providing immigrants with well-paid jobs. This very situation is clearly reflected in the overwhelming size of the population.

Despite this, these challenges can be somewhat overcome once dedicated, relevant, and valid schemes are applied in educational settings. Instead of focusing on rote learning or continuous assessments, schools can prime students to pursue targeted jobs and potentially excel at them. Furthermore, even if there is no backup from the governments, dozens of micro businesses will have to cope with initial monetary problems. Only through allocating a legitimate amount of money to promising businesses and markets can the initial obstacles be tackled. In these two ways, the country itself can cater for jobless citizens with work insurance.

In conclusion, the main drivers of the issue involve insufficient instruction at schools and the lack of jobs for all layers of the population. The most feasible solution is to implement eligible systems and back amateur businessmen with capital.
