Urban areas are becoming overcrowded. This is primarily caused by rural unemployment. In my opinion, this trend is unsustainable because of exodus of young people to urban areas
BP1: I believe that cities are experiencing rapid population growth. The primary cause is widespread rural unemployment, which forces many young people and families to leave their villages in search of better job opportunities and a more secure livelihood in urban areas. This occurs when there is a lack of job opportunities in rural areas . A major drawback of this migration is that cities become overcrowded, which can strain housing and public services.For instance, in many developing countries. The flow of rural workers has led to long waiting lists for housing and overcrowded public transport systems.

This is unsustainable because it leads to exodus of young people to urban areas, resulting in demand for accommodation and overcrowded public transport, which raises the cost of housing and causes delays for commuters. This can be addressed by creating workspaces in rural areas, especially for students that don’t have enough experience in the workfield after graduating university.For example, local governments could offer internship programs or small business grants to encourage young people to stay in their hometowns.
