While this growth brings advantages like job opportunities, it also causes problems such as overcrowding and pollution. In this essay I will discuss the main reasons for urbanization and what challenges it creates and ways to solve them.
Nowadays, urbanization is caused of economic growing and technology processes in all areas of country. Many people move from rural areas to urban centers for searching higher salaries. Cities have more business, industries, thus created a large number of work places. For example, in developing countries, many farmers leave villages to work in factories or offices in cities. Another reason is living conditions. Cities have more comfortable conditions, for example, better healthcare, education and public services to compared to rural areas. People move to cities to have access for modern hospitals, schools and transport systems, which can improve their quality of life.
On another hand is problems of urbanizations. Urbanization have a big impact for environment and it create poverty in society. One major issue is overcrowding, which leads for housing shortages and higher living costs. Another problem is over pollution, which affected for environment and human health. Traffic and industrial activities cause of air and water pollutions, leading to serious diseases, such as cancer, asthma and pneumonias destructions. Additionally, more waste produced in cities, rather in countryside where environment is still untouched.
In conclusion, urbanization caused by finding a better job opportunities and improved living conditions in cities. However, it also leads to serious problems such as pollutions and overcrowding. To reduce this issue governments should invest in each cities infrastructure equal and promote development in rural areas.
