Some people think immunizing children against preventable diseases is not important but also dangerous. I moderately agree. This essay will argue why vaccinating children against communicable diseases is necessary despite it being risky.
Many parents has always being careful when it comes to vaccinating their children. These people are worried about foreign substances being injected in their kid’s body and they have been few scenarios where children react negatively to the vaccine given to them. For example, Recently, a news was published where some children in East Sudan died because of a reaction to a certain vaccine. However, despite this few scenarios, I reckon that it is very important to immunize children against preventable diseases.
Despite the few scenarios associated with vaccinating children, I think it is very important to immunize children against preventable diseases because of the benefit to children’s health and community at large. Immunization help to build the immune system and making it stronger which helps to to fight against virus, bacteria or any foreign substances entering the body. Furthermore, it keeps the community away from diseases which can be spread easily. For example, research as shown that in Sweden, there is no traces of any spreadable diseases which is as a result of the government imposing on the citizen to immunize their children. Therefore, vaccination is very important not only because of keeping the child’s immune system stronger but also protect the society.
