For this reason, many argue that the this skill should be included in school’s subjects. However, this essay is of the opinion that learning about the value of legal tender should done at schools.
Admittedly, some young adults do not know how valuable funds are. For instance, some kids have no self control, and they do not know how to save cash for future purposes. Nevertheless, some people believe that, the burden of teaching these children about this should not lie on the teachers at various institutions. This is because, the main purpose of schools is to imbibe only educational knowledge, such as mathematics and physics in young people. Therefore, the inclusion of such topics about the importance of money may be a form of distraction as oppose to the main reason why parents send thier young ones to institute of learning.
Conversely, despite the aforementioned, I am personally convinced that money manners should be a part of a student’s curricula at his or her place of learning. This is because, many guardians are often at work, and thus do not have the luxury of time to impact such values in them. In addition, a school tends to provide a better environment for learning. For example, most institutions utilize pictoral and practical methods of teaching, which can help facilitate a child’s overall learning ability and comprehension skills. Therefore, this increases the possibility of better understanding of the importance of various money habits.
In conclusion, good money habit is an essential skill every human, especially young ones should exhibit. While, some people are of the opinion that topics regarding this should not be included in school’s curriculum, I agree that every child should be taught about money values in school because most parents have busy work schedules, and the environment of a school provides a suitable place for learning such.
