Over the past half-century, violence among young people sharply rose. Lots of people believe that the main cause of this problem is violent media. Due to rise of violence-based movies and documentaries based on people make money from illegal ways are causing this problem. So I agree with this topic.
On the one hand, over the past 50 years with the improvements in movies and TV shows, some violence content shows and movies were became famous. For example, in 1980 the most well-known movie was Scarface, in this movie, Antonio Montana immigrates to Miami, and then he creates a drug empire. In that years young people loved that movie and started to act like him. As can be seen, people are affecting from media and they are trying to be like them.
On the other hand, there are billionaires that earned their money from gun or human trafficking. These are not common things, however, because of documentaries of these people, everybody knows and some adolescents want to make money like them, and these biography shows supports people who wants to do these stuffs. For instance, in Netflix, there is a documentary about Jeffrey Epstein, this billionaire paid or kidnapped children to abuse, and more horrible things nobody can imagine, but people are making fun of these things and normalizing them.
To sum up, if people sees something a lot, it is going to be normal. This can be a significant problem in the future half-century. I agree that media is the main cause of violence among young people.
