While some argue that watching TV offers no benefits, I disagree. Since channels have a lot of educational programs on a variety of topics, and besides, it is easier to relax our favourite programs.
It cannot be denied that channels have both educational and non-educational content. To experience a productive screen time, it is important to choose the shows that give us useful information about our focuses. For instance, imagine a child who has struggles with high school math, and the family may not afford to send him to a course or hire a tutor, so to educate this person, the government channels may publish a show on this topic. Not everyone has academic focuses, some young professionals that leave their houses for the first time are not able to cook, so on TV there are tonnes of practical how-to-cook series as well, and these contents are mostly free.
Another positive aspect of watching TV is that it has entertaining and news shows, which help us to catch popular culture. Many people work for long hours on weekdays and can not create leisure time to attend events that do not have a remote option. And lots of research, which is conducted all over the World by different experts, show that to not experience a burnout situation, people need to free their minds. When adding up these two reasons, TVs offer cultural events like trips and comedy shows to boost your energy.
To conclude, watching TV will be helpful for individuals if they choose to watch rich content like knowledgeable shows to learn new information and relax their minds for people who have no time for going out for activities.
