There is a view that weddings are being organized more bigger and organizing on high cost. In my opinion, the disadvantages of this trend are more significant than its advantages.
To begin with, it is worth mentioning the positive sides of huge weddings. One of the most significant advantages is that it gives an opportunity to the people being more popular among their neighbours and also their relatives. To explain, many people would like to be famous and reputable and spent abundant money to their wedding days. As a result, taking advantage of wedding, they will be more popular among their neighbours.
In spite of the merits of this trend, organizing huge weddings offers numerous disadvantages to people’s lives. The most substantial downside is that many individuals are being in debt. In other words, they have not enough money which is why they have to borrow money from other sources such as banks. This might lead to unpleasant results. For instance, a lot of people who are in debt, they must sell their houses, cars and jewelleries. In my opinion, instead of organizing bigger weddings, it will be more preferable to contribute to their child’s education or to their problems with health if they have a huge amount of money.
In conclusion, if we compare benefits of weddings to humans’ reputation and negatives to financial well-being. I believe that disadvantages of it outweigh its advantages. If it were no big weddings, it will enhance the level of welfare among the humans.
