Currently, we are living in techno-savvy era, We can see technology is every where. Because of that several companies are providing work from home facilities to their employees. Many people think that it is good for workers, however others believe that it is in the favor of owners. I believe this is more in the favor of employees.
Firstly, one can save a traveling time. For example, vast majority of people in Ontario, Canada needs to travel around 20 to 50 km to reach workplace to their home. So, it takes 40 to 60 minutes in travel. They can save this time, if they work remotely. Secondly, employees can spend more time with their family members. For instance, individuals need to work eight hours a day in Canada. Thus, they have to hire any babysitter to look after their kids. But, if they work from online they do not need to worry for their children.
On contrary, employers do not get more food and electricity bills. In many MNC’s such as Google and Amazon have to pay massive bills of electricity and meals. Because, they have a very big staff. owing to that, If they give them to work remotely, they do not provide them internet and free meals. so they can save more money.
In conclusion, Both have benefits, such as employees can spend time with their near and dear ones, as well as they can save a commuting time to workplace. And employers can save on their bills. But, I can say workers have more benefits rather than owners.
