Online learning is leading to fundumental changes in the world and it have possitive and negative effects. The rapid growth of online learning is clearly transforming higher education, but traditional universities are unlikely to become obsolete. Instead, their role will evolve. I believe they will remain necessary to a significant extent, though not in exactly the same form as today.
Firstly, online learning has many advantegance. Such as flexability and really comfortable schedule which is truly significant for students and their free time.On the other hand, traditional universities offer things that online learning cannot fully replace. Students can communicate face-to-face with teachers and classmates. This helps them understand better and improve their speaking and social skills. Universities also give students a chance to make friends and build connections for the future. In addition, some subjects, like medicine or engineering, need practical training and special equipment.
Another important point is that university diplomas are still more trusted by employers. Online courses are becoming more popular, but they are not always seen as equal.
In the future, universities will probably combine online and offline learning. This means students will study partly online and partly in classrooms.
In conclusion, traditional universities will still be important, but they will change and use more online methods in education.
