In mordern defence foeces, women have become a highly important part of military operations. In Thailand, women now serve in many roles in all branches of the military. This essay will discuss the inportance of women in the Thai armed forces in relation to current situation.
On the one hand, women play a key roles in the armed forces which is in the medical and support services. Female military personnel often serve as doctors, nurses and paramedics, especially during peace and disaster emergencies like floods, wildfires and also spreading of COVID 19. For eaxmple, female military personnel are deployed to provide assistance to citizen during the major flood situation in Chiang mai,Thailand.This includes sending food, water, medicines and providing treatment to victims. Additionally, women are becoming pilots such as in Thai air force, some female personel military are trained for C-130H pilot aircraft.
On the other hand, There are some limitations that the armed forces still struggle with such as phycical fitness, inequality and traditional cultures. For example, Some training course like a speacial operation training program is required a high performances physical fitness and mental health. this is difficult for women who are interested in this course to access the program
In conclusion, not matter you are men or women, everyone has a valuable of their own and equality of life. As mentioned, female can be whatever they want. Especially, in the armed forses such as doctors, nurses or pilots. However, some roles may not be suitable with some conditions such as physical fitness.
