It is argued that working for an international company is preferable to working for a locally owned one. In my opinion, I strongly agree with the idea. I am going to explain my point of view by discussing, first, it’s good benefits then it’s climbing the career ladders.
In terms of good benefits, there are three reasons. First, health policies at global companies usually really take care of employee athletics. They include medical checkups, health insurances, personal protective equipment …Not only employees but also their family members. That helps to prevent potential health problems, attract talents and sustainability companies. For example, when I worked for a foreign-owned company, besides being insured by legal regulations, I also joined industrial life insurance. Therefore, I had the opportunities to advance my health. Second, normally, the working day of international companies is from Monday to Friday, so employees have some days off on the weekend. In addition to this, these companies have more annual leave, estimated 15 days and extra holidays (Chrismast). They could spend time with their families, recharge energy or take care of themself. Third, luxurious tours in holidays such as company trips also are a good point, laborers will enjoy services, experiences and release stress.
In terms of climbing the career ladders, there are two reasons. One reason is that the competitive environment at foreign-owned companies makes employees always have to continue developing, creative and willing to face difficulty. For this reason, after a long time, they could express their special abilities. Second, working in multinational environments, we could study a lot of things about speciality and language. To be more specific, we could contact research papers, modern technologies early because we do not have language barriers and lost time updating on newspapers.
In conclusion, I have shown that working for foreign company’ good benefits and climbing the career ladder, which leads me to strongly agree with the idea that it is better than working for a domestically owned one.
