Nowadays, the habit of reading has become very popular in society. So parents started to educate their children from very young age. I agree that it’s very important to teach children earlier, so they can be better at learning new things and other skills in the future.

First of all, learning earlier is a very important point. By teaching children how to generate ideas and organize their thoughts they can find solutions to various problems. Also, reading can help to improve vocabulary as well as thinking and analytical skills. However, kids in our world have become fascinated by modern technologies . Moreover, they are more interested in mobile phones and computers than in books and interactive games. So I think parents need to put a lot of effort into making their children interested in reading and developing new skills .

Secondly children in very young age encouraged to explore environment. Also, they really want to know new things, so that can help parents to develop thinking, reading and other skills for their child. For instance, preschoolers need to know how to read, how to write basic sentences and they need to know basic numbers, so if children go to school and have more abilities it would be easier for them to study and learn school program.

To sum up, early reading skills are truly important in child academic performance. However, the way kids are taught is very important too. The main thing is to make sure children have motivation to develop skills.
