Individuals, nations, and businesses surely have profited from the ongoing globalizing trend, however some people criticize it. I strongly support the statement that to ensure progress, we need to expand and exchange.
Firstly, I believe that globalization is inevetible. As the effects of climate change are getting more hurrendous, migrants will search for refuge in distanced areas. For example, people in Africa are slowly migrating towards the Mediterrian region, because of difficult climate conditions. As a result, in Bulgaria, my home country, we are having the highest numbers of African population in recent history. Consequently, the culture is forced to change, and provide shelter for those in need.
Secondly, globalization supports creative exchange. As we are able to travel and connect with different cultures, people and ways of life. We are able to collaborate on different projects and solve complex problems. For example, in the Covid-19 pandemic, we had researchers coming from all parts of the world, working together on a cure. If that was not possible, humanity would have suffered another black death, and it would have taken ages until finding a cure and spreading it all around the globe.
In conclusion, even though, I understand the concern that globalisation could be threathening , I believe that the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. As people are able to find better living conditions, exchange, and create flourishing societies, humanity is making progress in the right direction. Being respectful to one another and well aware of our differences is the key for a diverse bright future.
