The positive effect of globalisation is evident in the world at large, however some persons still criticise globalization. This essay will focus on the opinion that these critics are adverse to positive growth. In my opinion globalization has done alot of good hence it is difficult to understand why some persons would criticise globalization.
Globalization has made international transactions accesible and easy. Before globalization it was difficult to carry out transaction outside ones current location or country and where a bussiness man intends to carry out a bussiness outside of his country he would have to travel to the country where he intends to carry out this business, this cost both time and money, however with globalization a business can be consumated in the comfort of ones country.
Also we are able to keep in touch with family and friends irrespective of distance. Social media has made communication easy, with communication platforms like WhatApp, we are able to keep in touch in real time. For example back in the day when a member of ones family relocate to a different country communication ceased, there would also be no information about that person, but now we are able to still communicate.
In conclusion as the saying goes “every thing that has an advantage has a disadvantage, it goes without saying that although globalisation might have it’s disadvantage, it’s advantage out weighs the negative aspect, hence globalisation should be encouraged while policies are put in place to curb the misuse of globalization.
