On the one hand, taking a gap year enables high-school graduates to relax and alleviate stress after tired-study years. For example, they can choose many foreign countries to take a trip, which allows them to communicate with foreign persons. Therefore, travelers can enhance their English skills as well as enrich their knowledge about other cultures in the world, which is extremely necessary for their career later, especially working in numerous multinational companies. Besides, high-school graduates can concentrate on their favourite jobs. Consequently, they are not only gain a deeper work experiences but also improve their soft skills such as teamwork, communication or critical thinking, which is support their career in the future.
On the other hand, those can deal with a lot of obstacles.This is because the travel expenses including transport, food or clothes costs are quite expensive, travelers may lack money and even pause their trip. Moreover, if they spend too much time on traveling or working their favourite jobs, they will cope with a decreased academic knowledge when coming back to school. For example, they will forget a lot of knowledge about Maths, Physical or Science. As a result, they cannot keep up with school curriculums in their school.
