The book deserving to be filmed.
Recently I have read book named “Waffle heart” by Maria Parr. This valuem really touched my heart and made me cry at some points. It seems, as if it literally woke up some sleeping parts of my soul. This book is about childhood, friendships, family and true love. You read the story though the eyes of a young child, that seems to know and understand a lot about the world, which is quite suprising for a nine years old boy… After finished the book and closing the book cover, I searched all the net, in order to find a screen adaptation. However, there were none. It dissapointed me to the bottom of my heart, because I think, that this plot ideally suits for the film. This is why I decided to write this article, with the purpose of inspiring film directors to create a movie based on this scenario. Of course, it may cause some difficulties to find the right young actor to play a role of a nine year old boy, but, undoubtedly, the effort will be worth it. The second challenge one can face is the right place for filming. As in the book author pays a lot of attention to the surrounding atmosphere of Swedish nature and unique architecture.
Notwithstanding all of the things mentioned above, I do believe the film would be great! Can not wait to see it!
