In recent years, many countries have seen an increase in the number of people suffering from stress. This is an undeniable fact, and a potential cause of this problem might be that many people are overworked due to the country’s cost of living which leads to increased stress. However, a few remedies could be offered to resolve the issue, such as lowering the cost of expenses (groceries, rent, and gas).
Take, for instance, that at least 46% of Russians work more than one job on a daily basis to comfortably support their households, which can result in an intense amount of both mental and physical strain, leading to high levels of stress. However, in current times, many people face unemployment due to the unstable job market, making it difficult for them to find suitable jobs and causing immense pressure and burdening many with debt.
Having said that, there are numerous measures that could be taken to tackle this problem. As previously mentioned, the government could try to reduce costs to make the country more affordable to live in by lowering prices for groceries, decrease rent, and narrow gas rates. It is not a simple change that can be done overnight, but even small steps towards this goal can ease people’s burdens, helping them relax and focus more on other responsibilities.
All things considered, stress is a very subjective concept, and everyone has their own worries, but the government will always be responsible for taking care of its community, especially when it comes to such global issues that affect daily life. Therefore, while complete solutions may not be possible, taking practical steps to reduce these pressures is essential for improving overall well-being.
