In many countries around the world, people from rural areas are migrating to cities, as a result the population of countryside is decreasing. I believe this is a negative development as individuals move away from their villages, the rest of the people experience shortage for essential trades and if this trend continue in future, the rural area may transform to small villages
In contemporary society many individuals move away from their village. For instances, young people migrate to cities after their graduation for jobs, while others choose urban universities to widen their academic horizon. This trend can cause detrimental effects to villages. As people migrates to cities, there will be shortage in essential trades like plumbing and construction. As a result, villagers must rely on workers from outside, they may request for higher wages. This can pose negative effect to local economy.
Another reason is that, in future if this trend continues, there is high chance that every village may convert to small cities. As a result, villages may disappear in future. Urban people wish to spend their weekends and vacations in villages after their tedious jobs. When the villages convert to small cities, they cannot experience the breath-taking views, gentle breeze, and the wilderness of the villages. As rural areas are transforming to tiny cities, this can pose a threat to natural ecosystems.
In many parts of the world, people tend to migrate to cities. I believe this a negative development as individuals move away from their villages, the rest of the villagers experience shortage in important fields such as plumbing and construction. Additionally, if this trend persists, the villages may transform to tiny cities.
