Because of the developement of social network, there is a new definition grows, called “FOMO”. It leads young people tend to use a lot of time to search about fashion trends and money to buy clothes that caughts up with the trends. In my opinion, this phenomenon is a negative development in our planet.
The reason of this drawback is when young people follow the fast-fashioned, they would buy new items of this era and throw unused-clothes as rubbishes. The results is million tons of clothing that are in the rubbish area, are not recycled every year. Moreover, since the demand of customers in fashion trends, the factories which produce the large quanities of clothes, do not care of the process dealing with air and water.
Nowadays, consumerism significantly influnces to young people. They was manipulated by the glamourous appreance and spend more and more time and money in clothes instead of investing to knowlegde and soft skills. For example, a lot of Korean young people have their credit loans in buying luxurious accesories and fashion clothes and they do not have ability to pay the loans.
In conclusion, I think young people should not take too much time in following and speding money the fashion trend. Although in this period, the appearance is one of the important things, people should learn and invest the other factor such as knowlegde and experience.
