Computer and mobile phones are important devices nowadays. Many youths believe that they are a good method for communication and use it in a daily basis. Others, however, believe that they have a negative impact on skills as reading and writing. In my opinion these new tools are a double-edged weapon and should be used cautiously.
To begin with, I strongly opine that the fact of using new-technology devices as mobile phones and computers have more demerits than merits. Youths nowadays use their devices on everything and all the time even while they are walking on streets. Using computer and mobiles for communication becomes the normal way. As a result, young people have a poor relationship with their friends and relatives. Also, they lack the normal skills of reading and writing which help in their mental growth. A study published on 2010 in London University which stated that the brain maturity of generation Z is 30 percent less than Millennials.
However, there are arguments against the negative impacts of computes and mobile phones. Many peers believe that using these devices provide easier life. They help youngsters study, work, communication and entertainment. Nowadays, people gain money online easily. In the book Generation Z and Millennials the writer stated that new technologies made youth earn money 30 percent easier than their millennial peers. Despite understanding the fact that the importance of technology, I strongly oppose it.
All in all, from what has been discussed, I firmly hold the belief that technology should be used in a helpful methods and reasonably to avoid its detriments
