In the recent years, this became the third part of amusement. However, several people believe that it is unequivocal and it limits animals’ rights and freedom. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument.
On the one hand, many individuals believe that this kind of entertainment is a good educational opportunity. However, the modern zoological gardens are renovated in a way to conserve and simplify the lives of endangered beasts. To simplify, the percentage of pandas has increased due to keeping them in special conditions. On the other hand, wild animals have to live in the wild environment, hunting and exploring the nature. Meanwhile, zoos confine all these necessities. In zoos, however, animals are often kept in tiny cages that can meet their physical and psychological needs. For instance, in small countries with low economic status, such as Tajikistan and Uzbekistan circumstances for animals are awful. They are not just a weeny space, but more hot weather, poor nutrition, which are not suitable for them. Nevertheless, a fauna is also considered a creature which has the same rights as people. Therefore, keeping them in cages is an amoral aspect. For example, zoos exhibited in aquariums with dolphins are consequented with some punishments in te case if animal will do something wrong.
In conclusion, while zoos can provide educational opportunities and support endangered species, they can also restrict animals’ freedom and cause stress. In my opinion, this should not be completely banned, but workers there have to create appropriate conditions to live, not survive.
