The maps depict the comprehensive redevelopment of an industrial site into a modern residential neighborhood with improved infrastructure and amenities.
Overall, the area will undergo a radical transformation, replacing industrial facilities with a meticulously planned housing community while preserving the existing road network. Internal roads will be introduced to enhance accessibility within the site.
At present, the site is enclosed by four major roads—Chimney Road to the north, Swallow Street to the south, Pie Walk to the east, and Toe Lane to the west—ensuring multiple entry points. The main entrance on Chimney Road leads directly to a reception area and a central yard. The middle of the site is occupied by office buildings, while a canteen is positioned at the far eastern end, adjacent to the factory. A storage facility is located in the western section, just south of a large parking area accessible from Toe Lane. The factory, the most prominent structure, stands in the southeastern corner, dominating the eastern side of the site.
Following redevelopment, the site will be entirely repurposed for residential use, featuring modern apartment complexes, detached houses, green spaces, and designated parking facilities. Upon entering from Chimney Road, visitors will immediately encounter a parking area adjacent to a newly constructed apartment building. A private road will bisect the site, creating a structured residential layout. On the western side, a three-bedroom house will be positioned near Chimney Road, with a larger four-bedroom home situated further south. Across the road, a row of two-bedroom houses will line the eastern side, establishing a uniform residential arrangement. At the heart of the community, expansive communal gardens will provide green spaces and seating areas, fostering social engagement among residents. Additionally, secure parking garages along Swallow Street will accommodate homeowners’ vehicles.
