It is clear that Sony was the most revenue-generating company, while the opposite was true for Ubisoft in 2022.
Sony collected the highest amount of money in the year 2022, at $28.2 billion, while Microsoft was the second largest revenue holder with just over $16 billion. Meanwhile, the figures for Tencent and Nintendo were slightly equal, at $13.9 and $13.8 billion respectively.
The remaining companies had not generated more than $8 billion over the year. In 2022, Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts had generated around $7 billion annually. In addition, the last company that made more than $5 billion was Epic Games, with $5.8 billion. Additionally, Take-Two Interactive and Bandai Namco generated just over $3 billion US dollars, with $3.5 and $3.1 billion respectively. The least amount of annual revenue was 2.5 billion American dollars, generated by Ubisoft.
