The maps give detailed information about how Stokeford developed from 1930 to 2019.
Overall, it is clear that there was a moderate change in the structure of Stokeford, particularly in the development of Large house and Farm land. It is also worth mentioning that Primary school and Post office remained more or less unchanged over the given period.
Looking at the details, at first, the town had a simple view, not having many public facilities. There were only four main public facilities in the town in 1930. One of which was a primary school in northern-west opposite a post office. The next one of them was Large house and it was also located northern-west next to Primary school and the remaining two building, namely Post office and shops were in the middld of the map.
However, after several years, the town has modernized, with more public facilities being introduced. In the northern-west and in the southern-est Farmlands were brocken down and many small houses were built in this place. Moreover the old Primary school was converted into a big new primary school. Then the large house was broken down and a retirement home was built in this place.
