Some individuals prefer to travel to foreign countries during their vacations, while others choose to visit their own country’s areas. This essay will discuss both of these viewpoints and provide a personal opinion.
On one hand, for people who opt to travel more abroad than in their own country, it can be a more creative and exploratory experience. To extend, one can enjoy more and experience new cultures. Although, it is good for learning new traditions and knowing more deeply about a country’s history. For example, if individual went to France and visited Paris, one could eat new things and could learn about European culture. Secondly, travelling to different countries could be a relieving and relaxing experience, as in a different place one will hardly remember their stress factors.
On the other hand, people can enjoy their vacations more thoroughly and without any fear when they travel to places in their own area. Additionally, travelling around their city will consume less time, as individuals do not have to go through long and tiring journeys. Moreover, travelling domestically is a more affordable option; also it will help to save money which they can use for other things as buying new things for houses for example, a TV or a car.
To conclude, although travelling domestically during holidays allows for more comfortable and quicker option, I firmly believe that people can completely get rid of stress and feel more refreshed after exploring overseas destinations.
