The line graph illustrates the number of people moving from rural to urban areas in Iran, Indonesia and Russia from 2000 onwards, and the predictions untill 2025.
Overall, as can be seen, the figures for all countries experienced a decrease except for Indonesia in the future.
Looking at the graph in more details, the number of people who changed their place of residence comprised to approximately 15 million in Russia at the beginning of the period, then continued its upward trend more slowly to just over 40 million in 2010. The figure for Russia witnessed a considerable rise to 70 million in 2015, and is expected just under 90 million. In 2000 saw a slight growth to 10 million in the quantity of people who have relocated their place of home in Iran. Regarding the figure for Iran grew dramatically to 80 million between 2005 to 2020, before growing gradually to roughly 95 million in the future.
To begin with, there was a considerable growth to 30 million in the number of citizens who migrated from the countryside to cities in Indonesia, and is expected to remained stable at 30 million.
