Overall, while the large number of boys enjoyed football, most of girls liked netball. Additionally, the figure for boys was higher than that of girls in most categories, except for swimming, netball which showed a reverse pattern.
Football, cricket, tennis and basketball appealed more to the boys. Notably, the largest popular sport difference between the two group was showed in football and cricket, where 20 percent and appoximate 13 percents respectively of all boys in this country liked football and cricket, which was around seven times the figure for all girls. In contrast, tennis and basketball were types of sports that showed the most balence, with participation rates in two sports being about 1 percent higher for boys than for girls.
Swimming and netball were popular more by girls. The chart shows that the number of girls who like to play netball is the highest at about 17%, which was much higher than the number of boys at only 2%. Lastly, swimming attracted a relatively high number of both boys and girls, with 13 percent and 16 percent respectively.
