The tables illustrate the temperatures and daylight hours in London and Sydney throughout a weekend in December 2018.
Overall, the temperatures and hours of sunlight in Sydney were higher than those of London. In addition, while the difference between the maximum and minimum temperatures in Australia was marked, that in London was generally marginal.
The highest temperature on 28th December in London was more than twice the minimum temperature (9 and 4 degrees celcius respectively). Similarly, the maximum temperature on 20th December was two times higher than the lowest point. There was a pronounced difference of 10 degrees celcius in the highest and lowest temperature on 29th Septemper in London, which was the same for Australia where the temperature peaked at 28 degrees and bottomed at 18 degrees.
Turning to the daylights hours of the two cities, the amount of time during which the sun shone in London was approximately seven hours for the three studied days. However, longer daylight hours were reported in Sydney, with about 15 hours for each day.
