A glance at the maps depicts an island’s development before and after having the construction of tourist infrastructure. Overall, it is clear that the island has undergone a significant modification with the most noticeable being the construction of a pier, accommodations, and other conveniences.
Looking at the first map, we can obviously see that the island was a deserted one with no tourist facilities. In detail, the island only had a few trees on the east corner and a beach that could not be accessible.
After the construction of some tourist facilities, especially with the pier, the island is now more developed and modern. Additionally, the pier is on the south side of the island and connected to the reception and the restaurant by a vehicle track towards the north.
Furthermore, the footpath leads to two accommodation areas which are placed on both sides of the reception. Interestingly, each residential area has its own connecting footpath. On the west side of the island, the beach is constructed with a swimming area nearby and it could be accessed via a footpath from the accommodation. Interestingly, no trees were cut down during the construction of facilities.
