The line graph gives information about how many people are participating in 4 different sports from 1985 to 2005.Overall, the figure for tennis has increased over time, however, the reverse was true for rugby. Noticeably, both basketball and badminton showed no change in a twenty-year period.
The figures for both tennis and rugby observed dramatic changes over time. The number of people who attended tennis stood at 150 in 1985,and this was followed by a significant increase to 170 in 1990.In contrast, attending rugby was around 240 in 1985,after which it saw a gradual decline to about 210 in 1990.However, in the next five years both figures experienced minimal changes, reaching the same point. In 2000, the number of tennis players increased negligibly to more than 200,while that of rugby increased consistently to 150.There was a slight growth in the number of tennis attendees in 2005,reaching nearly 220,the rugby ones observed a dramatic decline to 50 in the same year.
Starting with approximately 90 basketball players, the number then showed a minimal decline to 80 in 1990.Similarly, there was a slight decrease in the badminton participants who reached under 50 in 1990.Both figures then observed a recovery increasing about 10 in both sport attendees, before which they remained stable until the final year.
