The line grap illustrates the average expense of contract every month for distinct types of cell phones, namely Domo, Lex, Sim TX and Alpha, in Europe during the first 9-months in 2002.
In general, the amount of money spent on the contract of these mobile phones witnessed an upward trend during this period, except for Alpha. It is remarkable that the cost for Sim TX’s contract reached the highest point in September, while the opposite was true for Alpha.
As can be seen from the chart, the average cost of Lex’s contract in January was about 12 euros, which is higher than that of SimTX’contract contract. During the next 8-months, there was an opposite trend for these two types of cell phones. Furthermore, a considerable increase of 20 euros was seen in the cost of SimTX’contract in September, whereas Lex saw a small increase of 5 euros.
In January, the cost in constract for Domo was higher than that of Alpha’s contract, which was respectively 15 euros and 8 euros. Additionally, the expenditure in contract of two remaining cell phones experienced a growth from January to June. Then, the expenses in Alpha started to fall from 14 euros in June to 8 euros in September, while the opposite trend was seen in Domo.
