In today’s life, children are given accessibility to technology devices, and several of them enjoy playing video games there. In my point of view, I agree with the positive effects that online games have on children.
Firstly, video games would in some ways enhance the reflex ability of children. Game designers have a tendency towards increasing the speed throughout the games. This forces the brain of the player to classify and address a great amount of information in a short time in order to catch up with the pace. As the brain gradually adapts to it, abilities like rapid decision-making get improved, increasing youngsters’ accuracy in high-speed required tasks, the flexibility of body and reaction time.
The next thing is that video games could develop children’s creativity, reinforcing their vivid imaginations. Games like Minecraft occur on 3D platforms, allowing players to create things out of their imaginations, and also providing an open-ended sandbox with no boundaries. Children could design, build, try out experiments without worrying about making messes like in reality; therefore, putting no limits to the kids’ fantasy. Consequently, playing these kinds of games might make children come up with outstanding innovations in life.
In conclusion, I believe in the benefits that online games provide, including the improvement of reflex, the development of creativity and more, that are essential to the children’s lives.
