Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that over the years the percentage of the population is increasing, including the predicted rate for year 2030.
In detail, countries such as Canada and UK in 1988 had their popular rate just under 20%. However, Canada faced a noticeable growth from nearly 16% to over 20%. While, on the other hand, UK experienced a minor change. Although it is predicted that in 2030 both nations will grow by 26% and 20%, Canada and UK, respectively.

It witnessed a gradual growth, in 1988 with approximately 20%, which later rose by merely 25%, and currently it is expected to rise by 30%. Making Germany a country with the most populated nation with people aged 65 and above.
